No free calls. Every unpaid call to a paid route returns HTTP 402 with the terms — a quote, not a charge. No API key, no account, no subscription: the price of a call is stated in its own HTTP 402 challenge before you pay anything, and the same figure appears here, in llms.txt and in openapi.json.
Range: $0.003–$0.005 USDC per call. Payment settles on Base; nothing is billed later.
How you pay — two rails
- Preferred:
PAYMENT-SIGNATURE(x402 v2). Sign an EIP-3009transferWithAuthorizationand retry; a facilitator verifies and settles it. No gas, and nothing waits on a block.X-PAYMENTis accepted as the v1 name. - Alternative:
X-Payment-Proof. Send USDC yourself and supply the proof. Self-describing, but it waits 12 confirmations, about 24 seconds before the data is released.
Status codes: 402 no credential · 401 credential

Free — no payment, no key

Human products — separate, bought with a card
- Research plans and the monthly VIP are sold through Stripe on the launch page. They are Telegram products.
- The monthly VIP ($29) does not unlock the API. API access is per call, in USDC on Base, at the prices above.
- A single USDC transfer of at least $0.1 to the receiver generates a Telegram VIP invite code. No API route costs anything near that, so ordinary per-call usage will not reach it — that threshold is for large one-off transfers.
